2. I was able to finish 3 LOs this week. Talk about being productive. lolz! All the 3 LOs are my entries to this month's challenge from Lasting Impression and Scrappin' Moms.

Rant:
1. Of all the days, this is the worst when it comes to my internet connection. Uploading a file that is less than 300kb took ages!
2. I wasn't able to make the deadline for the challenges due to Rant#1. =(

Oh well, s**t happens... I might as well share them haha!

And sing you songs 'til you're asleep.
To tell you tales of kings and queens,
of Jack and Jill and wonderful things.
So snuggle up and hold me tight,
And dream sweet dreams all through the night.
And every night when the sun goes down,
You'll still be the sweetest little baby in town.

Dearest Sofie,

Singing a lullaby for you is a gift. We thank God for giving us this opportunity, for the joy of watching you while you’re sleeping. Remember that Daddy and Mommy will always be here by your side.

And when you find it difficult to fall asleep, know that we’ll never get tired of singing a lullaby for you.

I won in a Tinkering Ink challenge

This post is long overdue. I should have posted this last week. Anyway, better late than never. =)

Last week, I got an email from Candice of Memory Box informing me that I was one of the winners of Tinkering Ink Challenge. Wow! I had to read her email a few times before the message could sink in. Haha This is my first time to win in any scrapbook layout challenge. Now I know how it feels and I'm loving it! You can check my layout here and Tinkering Ink's announcement here. Too bad they said we were from Singapore.

Paper Roses from Coffee filters

Yup! You got it! From coffee filters.

I was watching Martha Stewart Show when this project was featured. I felt it was difficult to make one when I saw the finished product. But when Martha and her guest, Cassie Chappell, started making the roses, I changed my mind. Hey! I can do that too!

For full instructions go to: MarthaStewart.com

By the way Cassie has an online store where you can order her gorgeous roses, Mommy Makes Roses
